Our Dutch Pancake Restaurant
If anything Dutch next to beer, it is “pannenkoeken” or pancakes. Pannekoek-mania went so far in the Netherlands, that a famous cartoonist made 29th of November a national day of pancakes, “Sint Pannenkoek”!
No surprise you find a pancake house on Dutch side St Maarten! Pancake lovers know the amount of variety they can come- and we invite you to see our concoctions. Clearly; our cooks are always open to your own suggestions!
Whereas pancakes are an internationally loved recipe, “poffertjes” are very Dutch. Poffertjes are tiny pancakes of slightly more volume. Traditionally, they go very well with butter and powder sugar. Ask us for this rare opportunity to have one in the Caribbean!
